Gentle hills for everyone: these two parks pack a ton of fun into their small slopes. They will also be less crowded than some of Arlington’s more famous sledding spots.

Epic for all – these two parks offer large and wide expanses of hillside. They have been local favorites for decades!
- Bluemont Park (Reeve’s Hill): Arlingtonians have been sledding on this vast expanse of hill for years – enjoy! // 400 N. Manchester Street, Arlington (329 Manchester Street should take you to the parking lot)
- Jamestown Park: Arlington County itself notes on the park’s homepage that “the park is also a great sledding destination in winter.” That’s good enough for us! Adjacent to Jamestown Elementary School. // 3618 N. Dickerson Road, Arlington

- Tuckahoe Park: Better for older kids! The sledding hill is along Sycamore Street. // 2400 N. Sycamore St., Arlington
- Glencarlyn Park at Virginia Hospital Center: Note–this is technically private property. Longtime users say it is “wicked fast”. Long hill! Be ready for a trek back up!//601 S. Carlin Springs Road, Arlington
- McKinley Elementary School: This is a popular and steep hill- at rear of school// 1030 N McKinley Road, Arlington
